Here at Playset Junction, safety is a top priority. All of our designs meet and/or exceed the Consumer Product Safety Commission's tips on playground safety. These guidelines are:

1. Swings should have a use zone extending a minimum of 6' from the outer edge of the support structure.
2. The zone in front and back of the swing should extend a minimum of twice the height
3. Swing spacing shall be:

a) at least 8 inches between suspended swings (ours are 10")

b) at least 16 inches from support frame (ours are 21")

4. Clearance between the ground and underside of swing should be at least 8 inches
5. Swing sets should be securely anchored.
6. Platforms more than 30" above the ground shall have guardrails.
7. Openings between 3 1/2" and 9" are extreme hazards, particularly railing spacing
8. Open "S" hooks are dangerous, and should be hammered close
9. No exposed moving parts which may pinch or crush.
10. No protruding hardware (all hardware is designed to be flush)
