This single shackle or clevis is galvanized for durability and has many uses on a swing set or playground. One of the best uses for these shackles is to attach tire swing chain to a tire swivel on a playground, Because there is a tamper-proof head, it's very hard to steal the tire swing. These shackles can also be used to connect chain to a belt swing.. These shackles are commercial grade and very heavy duty. The opening is the shackle is 1/2" and the bolt is 3/8" in diameter.
